This item:  An original, vintage continuity and dialogue screenplay for this 1943 version of the classic second version of the Gaston Leroux novel concerning a disfigured musical genius haunting the Paris Opera. While the silent classic Lon Chaney version focused on the horror, this version with Nelson Eddy is a much more lavish version in sumptuous colour which highlights the baritone voice of Eddy who had a series of huge MGM operetta movie hits behind him; still, there are horror elements with Claude Rains character not born disfigured but disfigured by acid being thrown in his face. The script is complete having all dialogue, as well as directions. Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Very Good + -:   complete, some  outer edge wear to cover pages; two small holograph notations to the first page; bound by 2 metal brads; cover pages have plastic protectors; overall, very good.
