This, more than usual, comprehensive leaflet starts by looking back at Rudolf Hess’ solo flight to Scotland and his attempt to make peace with Britain. It continues by asserting that the British government was not willing to negotiate peace with Hitler in 1941 and certainly is not inclined to do so now (end of 1943) when it is clear that Hitler has lost the war. At the end, the leaflet concludes with a warning: “…[Hitler] knows that he has inevitably lost the war. Nevertheless, he continues to bleed the German people because he knows that the end of the war also means the end of himself. To postpone his own end, he sacrifices you and Germany.”
