The leaflet reads in part: “To the civilian population of the German industrial areas.... On May 10, 1942, Prime Minister Churchill publicly declared all German cities, in which the armament factories of the German war machine are located, to be a war zone and called upon the German civilian population to leave these cities.... It is our firm decision to destroy the industries of the German war machine, and we have the means to carry out this decision. We will continue and increase our attacks until all war production in Germany has ceased. Only the unconditional surrender of Hitler's government can put an end to this process.…” -
