All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This item:  A PRIME COLLECTABLE. A most unusual and fascinating Hammer item. This is a copy of Chantrell's prototype artwork for Hammer's proposed One Million Years B.C. Part 2 being a follow-up to their very successful One Million Years B.C.. This item comes from the original Chantrell Collection offered up some years ago after the passing of the great poster artist. The image has been taped up to a board and presumably was to be used by Hammer to secure financial backing for the proposed movie, an approach Hammer frequently used before committing to the actual making of a movie. Clearly there was no such titled movie made - however, Hammer did make When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth and this artwork was used for the UK Quad for this (I have a copy of the double-bill Quad up on eBid where this image can be seen). That said, this item reveals a less censorious image with naked breasts on display, unlike the covered breasts on the Quad for the second Hammer dinosaur movie. A great Chantrell item for the collector and I am unaware of any other copies being in existence.  Rare 

Size:    15.25 x 20.00 inches approx. (actual image); 18.00 x 24.00 inches approx. for the board. LARGE PACKAGING REQUIRED.

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Fine - / Very Good ++   -:   very good corners and edges with light wear; small closed rip to glassine cover; overall a very good copy of a rare collectable.   Light reflections on the left of some images are from a window and NOT on the original which is of consistent colour density.
