Original British 14 inch x 11 inch 10 page illustrated Pressbook for the 1962 Robert Asher Comedy ON THE BEAT starring Norman Wisdom, Jennifer Jayne, Jerry Desmonde, David Lodge, Esma Cannon, Eric Barker, Eleanor Summerfield, Ronnie Stevens, Terence Alexander, Maurice Kaufmann, Dilys Laye, Campbell Singer and Lionel Murton.
Norman Pitkin works at Scotland Yard as a car cleaner but dreams of becoming a policeman like his late father
Cover art by Renato Fratini (1932 - 1973). An Italian commercial artist who specialised in cinema posters. In Italy he worked in Augusto Favalli’s studio, a major producer of Italian posters. He then moved to London at the behest of Eric Pulford, who ran the Downton agency, which had accounts with Rank and several other film companies. There Fratini enjoyed a successful career throughout the 1960s.

The pressbook is in very good condition with a one inch tear at the left edge.
