REPLACEMENT - VIOLET CHINTZ - sugar BOWL ONLY – LEFTON
This REPLACEMENT piece is a narrow swirl SUGAR BOWL - ONLY - NO LID in the famous VIOLET CHINTZ pattern. This is made by LEFTON China and decorated with gold trim, tiny violets and green leaves. This sugar bowl without a lid is approximately 2 ½" tall (to top of handles).
This sugar BOWL has the well known blue and gold crown like those used 1956-1967, a red with gold Lefton label used 1956 - 1966 and the number 912 on the bottom.
This appears to be in good condition as I find no chips, cracks or crazing but there is a little bit of gold loss on one of the bowl handles.
