Vintage / Collectible, Star Wars, C-3PO Voice Recorder & R2-D2 Alarm Clock, Limited Edition

You are looking at a R2-D2 Alarm Clock & Projector and a C-3PO voice recorder. Both are vintage Limited Edition, Star Wars merchandise from 1999. Part of the Pepsi promotion that was launched at the time. Recently found during a turnout and now both need a new home.

The physical condition of both is excellent those both are a bit dusty. The sound quality of the C-3PO voice recorder was never great but it was understandable. Now, it still works but is not great. I believe that this is because that the batteries need replacing. Unfortunately, I did not have any replacement batteries to test this.

The R2-D2 alarm clock is also a projector where a picture of Anakin Skywalker is meant to project out of the top of the alarm clock when the head of R2-D2 opens up. However, the projector does not appear to be working. I did take the batteries from something else to see if this was working but sadly, this was not the case. The clock and alarm clocking functionality however was tested and working before the beginning of this sale.

C-3PO Voice Recorder Details:-

Item: Voice Recorder

Character: C-3PO from The Phantom Menace

Theme: Star Wars

Features: Can record short message. Can play the short message back either normally or in reverse.

Dimensions (Approx): Max Height: 12.5cm, Max Width: 10cm, Max Thickness: 6cm

Condition: Excellent physical condition. The overall sound quality was never great but the playback was understandable. Currently, the sound quality is weak as the battery is very old and running low. But this recorder does work. Ideally needs a new battery.

Operation: Hold middle button to clear existing message and record new. Left button to play message back. Right button to play message back in reverse.

R2-D2 Alarm Clock Details:-

Character: R2-D2 from The Phantom Menace

Theme: Star Wars

Features: Has Alarm Clock functionality and Projects a picture of Anakin Skywalker from the top of R2-D2.

Dimensions (Approx): Max Height: 16.5cm, Max Width: 10.3cm, Max Thickness: 8cm

Condition: Excellent physical condition. Unfortunately the projector does not work. I did take the batteries out of something else to see if it was a battery problem but still no joy. The clock work, as does the alarm.
