Seller's Description

Original 17 inch x 44 inch Pull-Out Trade Advertisement Poster from the British magazine TODAY'S CINEMA dated January 23rd 1940 for the William Dieterle Drama THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME based on the novel by Victor Hugo and starring Charles Laughton, Maureen O’Hara, Cedric Hardwicke, Thomas Mitchell, Edmond O’Brien, Alan Marshal, Walter Hampden, Harry Davenport, George Zucco and Minna Gombell.

In 15th century France, a gypsy girl is framed for murder by the infatuated Chief Justice, and only the deformed bellringer of Notre Dame Cathedral can save her.

There were very few Pull-Out adverts from these trade magazines and this one is in very good condition with 3 vertical folds.
