Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1985 István Szabó Drama COLONEL REDL (OBERST REDL), based on the play by John Osborne and starring Klaus Maria Brandauer, Hans Christian Blech, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Gudrun Landgrebe, Jan Niklas, László Mensáros, András Bálint, László Gálffi, Dorottya Udvaros, Károly Eperjes, Róbert Rátonyi, Gábor Svidrony, Éva Szabó, Tamás Major, Mária Majláth, Péter Dobai, Pálfi Zoltán and Gyula Gazdag.
Set during the fading glory of the Austro-Hungarian empire, the film tells of the rise and fall of Alfred Redl, an ambitious young officer who proceeds up the ladder to become head of the Secret Police only to become ensnared in political deception.
The poster is in very good folded condition with 3 faint vertical creases and corner pinholes.
