Leyland Titan Bus to Bradford, Halifax Station 1976, Large Photo
Description: This is a approx Large 11"" inch x 8"" inch photo of a West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, Metro Calderdale liveried, 1962 Leyland Titan PD2/37, route 77, front destination board 'Halifax Bus Station', side destination board 'Bradford', seen here in 1975 on its return from Bradford, turning off Great Albion Street and about to enter the old Crossfields bus station.
The bus is fleet number 3043 and registration number is PJX43. The front of a number 56 Barkisland bus can be seen parked on the old St James Street piece of wasteland that was used in the 1970's as a temporary bus park.
An interesting look at an everyday Yorkshire bus station scene in the 70's.
