Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1969 Terence Fisher Hammer Horror Movie FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED, based on the character created by Mary Shelley and starring Peter Cushing, Freddie Jones, Veronica Carlson, Simon Ward, Thorley Walters, Maxine Audley, Geoffrey Bayldon, Norman Shelley and Windsor Davies.

Baron Frankenstein, with the aid of a young doctor and his fiancée, kidnaps the mentally sick Dr. Brandt in order to perform the first brain transplant operation.

Poster art by Jean Mascii. Mascii was one of the most prolific French film poster artists of the second half of the 20th century creating over 2,000. He was born in Italy in 1926 his family then settled in France in 1932. He began work designing cinema facades and designed his first film poster for La Dame D'Onze Heures starring Paul Meurisse in 1947. He died in Paris in 2003.

The poster is in very good folded condition.
