Original 1970 Hungarian 22 1/4 inch x 32 inch Poster for the 1967 Bo Widerberg Swedish Romance ELVIRA MADIGAN starring Thommy Berggren, Pia Degermark, Lennart Malmer, Nina Widerberg and Cleo Jensen.
Widerberg’s extremely elegant lovers-on-the-run romance was a huge art house hit. Degermark and Berggren are attractive leads and it’s exquisitely photographed in soft focus and slow motion to the strains of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21.
Poster art by Endre Balint (1914 - 1986). A Hungarian painter and graphic artist.
