There may be some bumps and blemishes that are not part of the original design.  However, sanding with sandpaper and/ or a sharp craft knife can typically get rid of most of these. On some occasions. Stringing (very thin strings of plastic) can also occur between points. I clean these up as much as I can. They can either be cut away or even melted (please take care not to heat the plastic up too much) away with a hairdryer. The underside of the prints may not be a smooth finish.
