This item:    An original re-release set of 3 UK FOH / Lobby cards (circa 1960) for this most famous version of Stoker's novel. As is known to genre fans, while Lugosi was shooting the classic for Universal, a Spanish team were shooting their own version at night-time in parallel to the Universal production utilizing the very same sets, but with their own actors in the various roles. Clearly, whoever was responsible for this circa 1960 re-release, either cared little for the material, or was slipshod in their approach for these cards display 'Dracula with Bela Lugosi' but muddled the two production images so we get Spanish Dracula cards and Universal cards. The three Spanish cards offered here contain a stunning Carlos Villarias Dracula image about to vamparise Lupita Tovar, as well as two cards depicting Van Helsing with scientists and Van Helsing and Renfield. Although muddled these are prime images for the Spanish production and as such are highly elusive. Such items, these days, are very tough to come by for the collector and rarely seen or offered.  Very Scarce / Rare

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Very Good +  -:   no pin-holes;  good corners and edges with a little corner creasing and wear;  overall,  very good. (see photos for further detail; feel free to ask for specific detail.)
