Disk three – 14 years of Deltic

preservation from 1990-2004.

This CD contains 150 full colour photographs of the famous British Rail class 55 “Deltic” locomotives from 1990-2004.  They can be seen in a variety of different poses and liveries at numerous preservation sites around the UK, at BR depot open days and also on mainline railtours. 

• Locomotives 55002, 55009, 55015, 55019 and 55022 are all featured, along with the prototype “DELTIC” and the remaining cab of 55008.

• Includes 46 pictures of four mainline Deltic hauled railtours in 1997 and 1999.

• Includes 17 pictures of Deltic related items – engines, nameplates, cab views, etc…..

• All photos are my own work using a Nikon N2000 35mm SLR camera.

• All photos have been scanned directly from 35mm negatives at a super-high resolution of 2400dpi to give apx. 8.5 Megapixels in standard JPEG format.

• Every photo comes with a caption stored in the “file properties” detailing the locomotive, location and exact date, the captions do not appear on the photos themselves as this would spoil them.  All captions are also stored in a single file of .DOCX, .RTF and .PDF formats so you can view/print them out for the whole disk.

• I use quality Memorex brand disks, NOT cheap “shop’s-own” disks.

• This CD comes with a colour sleeve, colour artwork label and a slim-line plastic case.

• I have been selling these disks since 2007 with hundreds of happy customers!

• I have been an amateur photographer using SLR cameras for over 30 years, I do not take pictures with mobile phones, tablets, instamatic or point-and-shoot etc.

• I retain copyright over all images.  These photos are NOT for resale or distribution in any format, but you may print them out for yourself if you wish.
