This DVD is a combined volume containing all the photos from all 9 CDs in my collection together on a single disk.  These are still photographs, not videos, there are just far too many to fit on a CD as they total 2.5Gb worth of data.

Special reduced price:  If you bought all 9 CDs separately it would cost £54, but it’s cheaper for me to make and post just 1 disk instead of 9 so I’ll pass the savings onto you and offer all photos for just £15 instead.  This is a generous 72% reduction costing you just 1p per photo!!!

This item is for UK customers only.  It is a DVD-R formatted for UK region 2.  I do not have the equipment to make it in other international formats, so most DVD players in other countries will not be able to read this disk.

• This compilation is a massive 1500 high resolution colour photos offering a good record of the railway scene over a 30 year period.  It includes all 9 individual CDs shown in the panel at the bottom of this page stored on a single DVD-R instead.

• Apx. 90% of the photos are British, although locomotives in America, Canada and France are also included.  There is a small section on steam hauled railtours in America (total of 20 photos), but everything else is diesel or electric.  There is no British steam on this disk.

• A huge range of locomotive types are featured both in mainline service and at preservation sites, plus many different types of multiple units too.  See the panel at the bottom of this listing for brief details, or look at my other items for sale where you can find full information about each of the 9 different disks this DVD includes.

• All photos are my own work using either a Nikon N2000 35mm SLR, an Olympus E-500 digital SLR or a Nikon D3300 digital SLR.

• Older photos (before 2007) have been scanned directly from 35mm negatives at a super-high resolution of 2400dpi to give apx. 8.5 Megapixels in standard JPEG format.

• Newer photos (2007 onwards) are digital at either 8 or 13 Megapixels depending on which camera was used.  8Mp might not seem much by today’s standards, but that’s the technology we had back in 2007 before I upgraded to a newer camera a few years later.

• Every photo comes with a caption stored in the “file properties” detailing the locomotive, location and exact date, the captions do not appear on the photos themselves as this would spoil them.  All captions are also stored in a single file of .DOCX, .RTF and .PDF formats so you can view/print them out for the whole disk.

• I use quality Memorex brand disks, NOT cheap “shop’s-own” disks.

• This DVD comes with a colour sleeve, colour artwork label and a slim-line plastic case.

• I have been selling these disks since 2007 with hundreds of happy customers!

• I have been an amateur photographer using SLR cameras for over 30 years, I do not take pictures with mobile phones, tablets, instamatic or point-and-shoot etc.

• I retain copyright over all images.  These photos are NOT for resale or distribution in any format, but you may print them out for yourself if you wish.
