Danburite Faceted Round: Bright Stone with Lots of Sparkle; 6mm; .95 cts; Mexico

Water-clear (with a very slight pinkish undertone from this Mexican source), danburite is a beautiful gemstone that looks wonderful against skin. The stone lacks the dispersion level of a diamond, but this cut throws out so much light that people may mistake it for one. A hard stone that is very suited for wearing in most any jewelry, it is nonetheless nearly unknown beyond the circle of gem collectors. It should easily fit into any pre-made setting designed to accept a 6 mm faceted round stone. This piece will add brightness and sparkle to any jewel it graces.
