Cambridge Bus Station 1977, Commer Van, Burwell, Large Photo
Description: This is a Large 11"" inch x 8"" inch photo of a period scene at the old Cambridge Bus Station in 1976. The Burwell & District liveried, 1962, Park Royal bodied, Daimler CRG6LX, registration plate 63NAU, destination board 'Cambridge, Burwell, B & D', is seen here at the concrete half shelter at Cambridge station, taking on passengers ready for departure.
There has just been a heavy downpour but the sun has now come out, and a 1974 Commer Camper van is about to slowly make it's way past the bus, while the bus driver is distracted from the passengers, his attention being occupied elsewhere at something in the opposite distance, and the conductor stands at his side.
