Original Russian 21 inch x 25 3/4 inch Poster for the 1970 Gleb Panfilov Russian Romantic Comedy BEGINNING (NACHELO) starring Inna Churikova, Leonid Kuravlyov, Valentina Telichkina, Tatyana Stepanova and Mikhail Kononov.
The story of a young heroine who finds in the film role of Joan of Arc an odd parallel to her efforts to find an authentic approach to her own life contained the theme that inspired Panfilov’s next project - a vain attempt to film the story of the real Joan of Arc.
