Original French 12 3/4 inch x 9 3/4 inch 20 Page Fully Illustrated Grand Gala Program for the 1950 Roy Ward Baker Wartime Drama MORNING DEPARTURE, based on the stage play of the same name by Kenneth Woollard and starring John Mills, Richard Attenborough, Nigel Patrick, James Hayter, George Cole, Peter Hammond, Michael Brennan and Andrew Crawford.
Cover design by Paul Colin (1892 - 1985). One of France’s greatest poster artists.
Stiff upper lips are out in force in this classic submarine drama, with Mills as the commander facing a watery grave after his submarine hits a mine.
The brochure is in very good condition.
