This sale is for an antique copy of "Some Dartmoor Saints and Shrines: Studies in Experimental Religion Among the Homely Folk" by Lewis H Court. This 1st edition was printed in 1927 by Macmillan and Co Limited and contains illustrations/photos. This a hardcover book with original cloth with what looks like gold coloured gilt in the indented writing on the spine and an indented emblem/crest/picture on the back cover.
Overall, The book is in very good condition for its age (please see the pictures and description below). At the top of the first page, there is some faint writing in pencil.
This book would make an excellent gift for collectors of antique books and those looking for local and very specific history.
