 THANK HEAVEN...MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY by Leslie Caron.

Leslie Caron was born and brought up in Neuilly, an elegant subuurb of Paris, the city where she now lives. Her father, a chemist, was French, her mother American. twice nominated for an Oscar, she has received a number of awards, including two Baftas and a Golden globe, and, in 2007, an Emmy for her role in the TV film Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. She continues to act on stage and in films, appearing more recently in Chocolat and Le Divorse. In 1993 she was awarded the Legion ;Honneur. In the same year she opened her Auberge La Lucarne aux Chouettes in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, some 70 miles south of Paris, which attracts visitors from around the world. A book of her short stories was published by Doubleday. In 2009 Leslie Caron received an honourary degree from the American University of Paris.
