Thats funny! - My grandson (5) had a little lewis hamilton scalextrics, but spent most of his time reading his Dora the Explorer Annual!!

I woke up above ground. That was present enough for me!

My daughter won this fine specimen in a raffle and gave it to my Formula One loving son as an extra pressie, he stands around 5 foot tall and is dressed in official Formula 1 gear.

Yep, I got exactly what I wanted.

Lots of chocs, some Chanel, a little stationery kit (people who know me know I can't resist stationery and pens), and a book called The Four Hour Work Week, from my daughter who read it, said it's fantastic, and checked with me first to see if I'd like it. She is incredibly thoughtful, and it's right up there with the desktop single mug coffee maker, and the Complete Lute Works of John Dowland that she gave me previous years.

Nothing from OH as agreed, and only one gift card (but I can spend that during January on emergency clothing and lunches at the M&S across the road from the office, or on clothes for the aforementioned daughter before she goes back to uni).

We didn't have any rows, I got to see my mother for the first time in a year and managed to not get too mad with her all day, and no one got any extraneous presents that we have to deal with all year. Perfect.
