Oh Yeah! Turkey sandwiches or wraps with cranberry sauce and stuffing!
We also love homemade turkey soup which is excellent when you place a scoop of leftover mashed potatoes in the bowl before spooning in the soup! Best when you make your own homemade noodles which isn't hard to do at all.
Turkey salad(no lettuce leaf in sight) Cut meat into small pieces, chunks of drained pineapple, mayonaise and a dash of worcestershire sauce. Eaten with toast
Also nice with chicken meat
Don't Forget to use the left over bones
for stock.Which can be used in Gravy ,
Soups , Stews etc.
Ratlin.
Believe this or not,,, usually , although I buy a very large Bird , we have had it for lunch and supper Christmas day . We usually have a cold lunch Boxing day , my son , daughter and their family pop in .... I never have any left. I have been known to hide it at the very back of the fridge too
turkey has to be the worst part of christmas, i cannot stand the stuff,
but- i do get one cos the rest of them like the traditional bit, i just make sure its a small one so there are no leftovers.
