First non payer

As one seller said previously in this thread Ken, I wish I had your patience.

I wasnt shrilling about the fact that 3 days had gone by without payment, I was just merely asking the question how long do you leave it before realising you wont get paid.

Im not being funny, if you bid on an auction that has less than 2 minutes to go, do you really then stay afk for the next week? Maybe its just me......

I would hardly think that 3 days is time to start panicking about a non payer for goodness sake. I would wait 7 days before getting agitated. Do you really expect people to be hanging poised over the keyboard to press pay the second the auction finishes. Perhaps they are having problems, new systems and all that, patience my friend.

Yes, I'm the same, I don't normally start worrying until a week (although like everyone I prefer an instant payment, which is what I tend to do when buying unless I pay by cheque).

In this case though, I can't see the point of leaving even more negative feedback. It didn't cost me anything, when I saw 7 negs I just relisted the book, and being number 18 on the list seems a bit pointless, that non-payer is gone and not coming back.

I have had 3 sellers in the last month that did not send the goods.One i got my money back on with paypoo,one never claimed it and the other took my money and ran.Bit off buying anything at the moment.

I too had a NPB on 2 Sept. Despite 3 reminders/requests, 2 direct emails, a reminder from Customer Support and a reminder from PayPal - no contact received whatsoever. Going to have to leave a neg - to warn others if nothing else.

I wonder about the 'wreckers' mentioned in this thread - as this NPB on mine also has account on Feebay under a different name ...

Im going to give mine the full week and then go from there. Tbh, the bid was too close to auction end not to see it through, so I seriously think its a nonpayer. Ill take that back if it turns out different.

On a lighter note, a "newbie" buyer bought and paid for one of my items while I was griping about the nonpayer, so it cant be all bad!

I have non paying disputes/non feedbacks on the other side, but Im almost rid of them and then eBid will have me all to themselves - lucky eBid hehe and then PhAnMaLe will be able to concentrate on making it work here and she will be a happy bunny

The thing with non payers, is it now happening more because of the feedback changes over there and they think that as buyers they can act with impunity. Just a thought.

Update, to the red underlined above - they now have zero feedback! Still no contact, but now in hands of PayPal - our trusty on-line Bank
