    She got me too..lol

So happy to be in the club!!

I'm glad we have the option to edit our feedback in case something happened to this person that has kept them away for awhile...

When I went for my lung transplant I was away for 3 weeks until I could answer an email...I had a few unhappy people...

I give the benefit of the doubt usually, but since we can edit..I negged this person too.

I also sent him/her a very polite email explaining that I know sometime things happen, wishing them well, and saying I would be happy to edit the feedback.

    ~we'll see what happens.

Ken, You are always the voice of reason...(slightly regretting neg.)

I agree we have to be careful not to scare off the buyers.

I also believe that this story is different here. I believe this person is just being a malicious creep.

Hopefully I will be proven wrong.

I don't think i've ever seen any 'trigger happy' feedback on ebid. Most sellers have the patience of a saint! On some occasions I wish a fellow seller had acted a bit quicker especially when i see negative feedback added many weeks after the sale, by which time the buyer has stung a few others sellers too

Ah well that could be why then she kept telling me she wanted to pay with google, most adamant about it, I did tell her i took postal orders as well.........so thats it she couldn't get to the post office to buy stamps or postal orders, stuping thing is the three listings only came to £1.99, she seems to be getting more bad feedback now. oh well how sad as otherwise her buy's and payments seem to be good.

Marianne , ken and whoever else think we jumped the gun, It it very rare that i neg anyone, I waited a month and a half for payment sent many emails and AAL that she replied to some, so every avenue was tried before i left feedback, possible if I had been " triggerhappy" in the first place so many other sellers would not have been been taken the P out of and put to the trouble of packing / unpacking and now relisting as well.

If you're talking about the buyer I tracked down via your feedback, I think 18 negs and no other feedback rather proves your point.

If I'm number 10 in the negging list, it is a straightforward no pyt no contact.

If I am the first to leave a neg, I always add a bit about changing feedback if payment received.

Question could someone please explain the NPB procedure plz?

3 days into a non paying bidder. A newbie, with whom I sympathise being new myself, however, I do also believe there are soooooo many options available to get yourself help if you want it.

I have sent an invoice, a payment reminder *and* copied the reminder and pasted in an email sent directly to their email addy.

I intended leaving it a full 7 days before writing to cancel (would be the point I would start a dispute on the other side), but now Im reading here that I need to send 3 reminders and then ask support for my FVF and leave NPB neg feedback. How far apart should I leave these non payment reminders? ie what timescale should I give a newbie time to respond?

Maybe it would be an idea to have regular NPB's on a list somewhere so that we could blackball before getting stung?

I would hardly think that 3 days is time to start panicking about a non payer for goodness sake. I would wait 7 days before getting agitated. Do you really expect people to be hanging poised over the keyboard to press pay the second the auction finishes. Perhaps they are having problems, new systems and all that, patience my friend.

This post re appeared again and I never saw your post. I wasn't saying you're trigger happy, Buttons. And the 2 buyers we're dealing with in this thread are obviously not going to cough up. But the fact remains that Ebid emails can be a bit "iffy" and you should try making contact by direct email, which obviously you have done. If that doesn't work and there is no response whatsoever after a week to 10 days, I think it's quite important that appropriate feedback is left and NPB's get started. At least the feedback warns other sellers of potential problems.
