In internet explorer go tpo Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Settings > View Files

Sort them by name and look for something like

    or
    Cookie:your name@ebid.co.uk/

Delete the files and see how you get on.

    Hope that makes sense.

    In a word,No.It doesn't make sense!
However,I have just logged on using MBW's laptop (on a wired, shared connection) & there is no problem.I am on xp on my 'pute'.Her laptop is vista,is there a relevance here?
I am just going to try & list using her 'pute'.

I listed this auction on MBW's laptop running vista. There were no problems with the WYSIWYG editor.
I listed this auction on my desktop running xp.This I had a problem with as mentioned earlier in my other thread

I use home XP and the advanced wysiwyg, with IE6 and have had no problems; apart from occasional blips where I assume there is maintainance or tweaking taking place.

Bluebedouin. which Internet explorer are you using - 6 or 7? From what I have heard of 7 (not used it myself yet) it is not compatiable with some programmes.

Hi Lofty, yes I'm on 6 too.Funnily enough MBW's laptop is on 7 & the listing was fine on hers.
The problem first arose from the last major update from what I remember. It was intermittent so I thought it was a temporary glitch.Seems to be permanent now.Something else I noticed, not sure if relevant. When I logged in on her 'pute' I didn't get the security warning come up but it does every time on mine!

Mine still not working either.I haven't got firefox,I don't particularly want it.The point is Lisa we shouldn't have to use it.
Fair enough it isn't a problem just with eBid software because on MBW's laptop with vista it is fine & as you say on firefox it's fine.It used to be fine with xp on my 'pute',now it's not. There is a conflict there somewhere,I haven't changed anything at my end.
