Gazza and Mark. problem with online editor

The problem is that the problem is a problem to only one person, unless we were sitting at that persons computer viewing the problem then we are unable to fix the problem straight away.

Can you see if deleting our cookie helps at all.

In internet explorer go tpo Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Settings > View Files

Sort them by name and look for something like

Cookie:your name@ebid.net/
or
Cookie:your name@ebid.co.uk/

Delete the files and see how you get on.

I haven't tried the exact listings thjat were causing the problem, but i have succesfully edited and reposted some auctions from my 'closed' lists. So my problem appears to be fixed.
Today I installed and ran 'system mechanic ( 30 day trial period) which fixed some registry problems on my PC- no idea if this helped but i thought i'd mention it in case it is connected and helps Lisa. Thanks Gazza for doing whatever you did from your side.

not very good with messing with stuff on my pc so dont really want to be messing with the registry !
just checked to see if the editor is working for me - its not

oh well i will just have to keep using firefox

I think your prob is not site related as the similar problem I had affected both Firefox and IE,

I would suggest you un-install and then reinstall IE

Working fine for me.. just tested it on IE6 IE7 Ff 2 Opera and Netscape on two desktops and a laptop.

Much faster load now Gazza ..thanks

Tried un-installing IE but..

It rolled back to IE 6 so i went back to add/remove programs and cant find IE6 in the list to completely uninstall it .

any ideas how i uninstall IE 6 if its not showing up in add/remove programs

Had a good look , cant seem to do it

every other site i use is working fine with IE

also other editors i use are fine ?

Just seems to be this site when im using IE

ill just have to use firefox to list and edit

I do wonder though how many other users have experienced this and not come back?

I can tell you how to remove ie6 but its tricky, I would now just reinstall IE7 over IE6 again, but before you do read on

This is so strange as I had the exact same glitch but it was on both Firefox and IE but I can't remember what the hell I done to sort it..

If you like IE The only thing I can suggest is you download and try another IE engine based browser such as:

http://www.avantbrowser.com/
http://www.maxthon.com/

These browser are IE7 with some extras and new skin.
