Whatever your feelings about the conflicts...its the support for the people out there I was talking about.

Supporting the armed forces, army AND airforce, is not the same as supporting the wars.

I don't agree we needed to go into any of the countries, and neither does my son...but he has a job to do irrespective of what he believes.

My son would be appalled by 'parties for heros' and embarrassed and used for propoganda...all he and the rest of the lads and lasses out there want is for THEM to feel they have some support from the people back home.

Yes they signed up for it...but, if you were in a job you didn't like, you can quit...they don't have that luxury.
Well paid...how much would you like to be paid to be putting your life on the line 24/7.
How would you like to have to go out every day, putting yourself at risk, and feel that no-one cares.

thing is they do have most of the countrys support
    as for wages
it doesnt matter if they get paid a million pounds a week or a £5 a week
the fact remains they know the risks before they sign
they are not mislead in anyway

just watched the lads and lasses from norwich return home ,it was how it should be
    family and friends

I'd like to see exactly what has been said by the "general" before expressing an opinion on what currently amounts to 'hearsay'.

It is hearsay until you can back up your information

It is up to you to provide the link, not up to me to find it.
