My sister sells on Ebay. I have tried t persuade her to put her items up on Ebid...but when she looked at the site, she couldn't find anything like the type of item she sells. ( She is selling Scouting items. Her late husband was a Scouting DC and had a huge collection)
I've tried telling her that she would be better off putting them here as she wouldn't have the competition, (or the fees) and we need to start the ball rolling etc etc...but no chance.
I try telling her I get sales, but her reply is that I sell craft stuff and that sells on Ebid...
I am just wondering how many other sellers have this mindset...and how do we get them to change it.
To me its a bit like a chicken and egg situation. We can't get buyers until we get a good selection of items on the site...we can't get sellers who think that their items are not what sells on the site...
