I think I had an exciting career - 40 years in all things IT. Retired now, still miss the buzz of design, development and successful implementation.

Well done on the sale. Was it local collect?

Least eBid do not charge interest on the fees outstanding until you meet the minimum invoice payment threshold.

Same here, freelance for many years, enjoyed it so much I continued well past retirement age. Didn't always enjoy individual days, but, as you say, seeing something successful go live is a buzz.

Yes, local collect, already paid for and the buyer should be picking it up this coming weekend. I wonder how you guessed!

I assume they take the fees out of my paypal a/c. Or maybe I have to initiate the payment when I get an invoice. I last paid fees years ago, I'm sure it will still be self-evident when they come due.

I must list more. The more listings, the more sales. I ought to clear out my very retro wardrobe, but I don't see much like that on here. Maybe that's more suitable for Vinted.

Give credit where it's due. There was some fairly nifty action on the advert issue and that was raised in the forum.

    @Johnwash.

"I assume they take the fees out of my paypal account"

It depends on how you set up your bill payments.

It can be automatic (D/D?) or pay by card or paypal manually.

I just go to the invoice and click on the Pay Now button.

Another recent improvement that was taken up after discussion on the boards was the high lighting of the "Log In using your ebid password" in blue on the board's HP. After some new comers thought they were meant to use their e-mail address and couldn't get access.

Yes, I'm happy to give full credit for that.

But there's a difference between firefighting and making welcome improvements from suggestions. Maybe I'll be proved wrong, which would make me very happy.

I should have read this before replying to Stnenopmoc. OK, I'm wrong to think suggestions are never acted on.

Oh, but what a can of worms you've opened. Now I'll be making lots and lots and lots of suggestions! Ever hopeful! Seriously though, I should shut up and get some more listings done.

Bulk Edit enhancement. There have been a number of threads with this request over the years. Note that Exporting items and re-importing with revised price loses specific information regarding the item details, plus the resulting spreadsheets are rather large making edits cumbersome.

An on-line selection capability would be a great improvement to create bucket content for bulk edit.

This would provide sellers with hundreds or thousands of different items all at the same price, spread over many locations categories sub-categories and SKU's, to be able to set a permanent revised Buy Now price. (maybe possible to set a temporary sale reduction price)!

This could be achieved by adding a price field to the Buy Now Available ? search data.
When the price field is set to a value >0.00, pass the value to the query selection criteria parameters to match the Buy Now price.

    Example of what currently happens.

The screenshot of the existing functionality when invoked i.e. press the search button results in 1260 listings for this one SKU and BuyNow option. Note there are only 8 price variations in this SKU. (the average would be 150 listings per price, but price range is skewed the higher prices have low counts, the lower prices have higher counts) The bucket content edit functionality to remove non required listings from the bucket is unwieldy, even though a bucket content can be ordered, it is nearly impossible to delete from bucket content the items not to be edited as the sort order result is not quite the same in My eBid>Listings I'm Running.

    Attachment 66280.

    Required Functionality

With the requested price selection criteria shown below (0.30), searching results in 480 listings to add to content bucket ready for immediate bulk editing to set the new price in a few clicks.

    Attachment 66281

I am sure this is a worthwhile request. It will save users many hours of fiddling with spreadsheets or ticking boxes, uploading and downloading.

What do you think? Choose one of the options in the poll at the top of this thread.
Now there has been development/enhancement activity any chance of this being implemented?

This is some fantastic news. Thank you. I am sure there will be a good number of sellers will make use of this functionality.

Somethng really helpfull, common to most selling sites not just the auction sites, is the use of a 'Basket'

With the image of a Basket top right (where everybody else puts theirs)

I know there is another way, buy in the same hour etc, but that is not obvious or logical and not customer friendly.

Buyers will buy more if they can put things in a basket and also have a possibility receiving a combined postage.

Buyers like to look in their baskets and then add or ( if they must) remove things.

It's a simple well understood process, common everywhere.

This would be my primary request for site improvement
