I think someone is active and doing something on the site.

When the annoying advert started sliding up from the bottom of the screen it covered the "Log out" line from the Username. No-one commented but it was fixed, so now it doesn't.
Also I'm sure up-loading photos to new listings has been improved and speeded-up. It used to take enough time to make a cup of coffee to up-load 5 - 10 photos. Now it's a few seconds and up-loading 2 photos to a PYA thread was slow but is now almost instant.

I understand that, but it would be nice that they would announce some projects for upgrading the site. ( wishful thinking )

I certainly won't dis-agree with you there. Even the occasional announcement of one or two modest improvements / up-dates would be re-assuring. We would then know that there is a plan going forward and we're not just drifting. We might only be "little people" but we've all invested time, money and effort in Ebid to a greater or lesser extent and I'm sure it would inspire more to know that The Management have enough confidence in the site's future to visibly do the same.

627 UK Active stores today 2 up on last Saturday at 625, slow progress

Just a thought relating to UK based stamp, coin and card sellers, or similar UK Based geographical sellers

How about seperate stores for the UK,( and if you have enough stock, stores for each UK country) Europe, Scandinavia, Former UK terratories such as block comprising Canada, New Zealand Austraila, Then a block of Africa, Middle East, India, Far East, then lastly one other block comprising Russia, North Korea, China, America.

    Any thoughts?

Can anyone tell me how you import your items into a shop? I've set up a shop but cannot find how to do this. Thanks. Dioug

Bring your shop online. Do this in your My eBid Stores.

You should be able to make it the default shop for new listings in your default listing template, (if you have one of course)!

Otherwise it is a pull down selection in the item listing form.

For your existing listings just make an edit and select your store from the pull down selection in the listing edit form. Save your changes.

NOTE: You must have your shop online before you do anything else.
