I'm sorry I had to go for a walk after reading that,
in fact I'm going for another one, maybe a bit longer.
He called for ‘imaginative’ ideas such as making old people care for the very old.
I could say so many things. In my opinion, it's clear that the privilege this person has enjoyed has not sharpened his sense of reality.

His taxpayer-funded pension is estimated to be £120,000 a year.
Nuff said.

I'm not quite sure, but I would think that the younger generation would be grateful that the older generation would retire and open up job positions for their generation to fill. How exactly does the younger generation have to subsidize pensioners who have paid into the system for years? Unless, of course, the fund has been mismanaged by politicians over the years like our Social Security System has over here.
Maybee it may give younger people an idea the way it's heading, why are they bothering to pay now to get an old age pension when they are going to have to keep on working to draw it. I rather think they will suss this out as a con.
