This year, doctors are reporting two different strains of the flu in the US. The current vaccine was well chosen and offers an approximate success rate of 60%.

Wow, this is news to me. Have never had a flu shot in my life (never had flu either) but am reconsidering this.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I have to have flu jabs every year now because my immune system has gone bonkers and I am quite happy to have them.

My 6 year old granddaughter came home from school yesterday with a high fever, her mother took her to doctor who gave her a shot. This morning she got up feeling fine and told her dad "I'm hyper and ready to go", he said she was bouncing off the walls! Sure hope it is a cure for the flu.

I had the flu which turned into broncitis and am finally over it after 5 weeks. It was very unhandy but not life threating.

At 63 years old I'm not concerned about compromising my immune system.
But I am concerned about compromising my life expectancy!

On this crowded planet it makes sense to me to have the jab!

theres a flu virus in the uk at the moment with the complication that it makes you feel and be sick with a constant headache along with the normal symtoms of flue ive had it knocked out for 3 weeks

the flu jab well i used to have it but one year it knocked my shoulder out for a year as thats were they give it to you so im a bit worried about loosing my strengh there again i agree that in some ways were over protective to kids but people with underliying problems like lung problems would be wise to have the shot

There is another spot that has some padding on it that they can poke. Back in my skinny days I wouldn't let them give me a shot anywhere else because I didn't have enough flesh to put it in without putting my arm out of commission. It might make sitting uncomfortable but that beats not haveing a good shoulder.
