It was odd really - within an hour of saying I wish I could have some of the feathers (from Wyo's black ducks) I found a heap of white fluffy feathers on my lawn, + 2 legs & 2 feet but nothing else. So I have been very upset as I think a baby gull has been attacked. The parents are gone from my neighbours roof.

That's sad Cheaver, it looked to be growing well on your last photo, wonder what attacked it ?

Good morning folks! Coffee time.

Picked up an inexpensive store brand bag of whole bean coffee and made the first pot this morning. Im surprised, some of the best coffee I have had.

I think I mentioned the new screen door we put in for Bonzo. Its called Magic Mesh and opens and closes itself via magnets.
I replaced the sliding patio screen with it so Bonzo can go in and out when he wants. When its hot and the air is running I close the glass door to keep the heat out. Mornings when its cool I leave it open so Bonzo can go in and out.
This morning I went down to get my second cuppa and noticed the air kicked on so I closed the door.
Well Bonzo spottted a rabbit and took off full gallop from the living room and leaped out of his screen. Unfortunately I already had the glass door closed but he still saw the screen.
Bam head first into the glass door. Shook him up quite a bit. I opened it back up for him but he forgot all about the rabbit. Next time I saw him he had his head and half his body hiding under the bed.
He's okay just feeling real stupid right now.

Ow, poor Bonzo! Glad he's OK though. And here I was wishing I had a glass door to watch the birds, kitties would probably do the same thing as Bonzo when they saw them, maybe it's good I won't get what I wish for.

Wow, Ms. Penguin, that's one gorgeous train ride!
