You two are SO naughty!! And we like it, haha.

Nice to have some input from others here (love the photos too, especially the dobro!) good to hear what you're enjoying and what and who you play with
    (NO Fossy, get DOWN!)
Please excuse our young retrobates on here they are like mischeivous schoolboys, in between being highly talented and respected musicians and pillars of society!! Well definitely the first bit anyhow...
Adrumi, those songs are great choices thanks for putting them on, I was gonna dig them out for you if you didnt post, as they were ones you mentioned in your other thread. Apart from these guys being so great in their heyday they STILL really knock em dead. Not many still that good decades later!!! I'd love to go and see them perform myself.

Well that doesn't surprise me of you that you can just join in any band un re-hearsed, you're the real deal! True talent that. Wish you lived around here or vica versa, theyre lucky to have you.

LOL! Love the pic, you can always tell the rockers. Hope you're back to fighting and top playing form soon.

Probably my favorite concert experience. Although John Bonham wasn't alive at the time this drummer did okay. I remember melting watching this, girlfriend had to hang on to my belt to hold me up. OUTSTANDING!

My OH plays guitar, fiddle and keyboard and i would love to be able to play with him. I bought myself a bodhran but just cannot master it as it should be played but as a hand drum i can keep a beat.

If you have some rhythm practice, you'll get it. As a drummer I had thought what my teacher was having me do was the dumbest thing I could imagine. After deciding to learn on my own I realized it wasnt so dumb after all. He was teaching me to be able to use my 4 limbs seperately without anyone mocking the other. Over time I was able to accomplish this what appears to be an easy feat, but it is not. Most drummers will link their left foot (hi hat) with the snare (left hand) as the right foot and hand seperate into what is needed. The best if the best drummers have learned to play left or right handed/footed and a combination of both. Very difficult to do but it is learned through practice and determination.

You need one of these then to help you keep a beat - a metrognome.
