I love that story Spyder , good for you putting those shi*s in their places. I love to see that, especially with REAL genuine people with REAL genuine talents, nevermind what age you are, they should be carrying your stick for you and showing you the bloody respect you deserve!(as somebody older and wiser AND as a great musician) If I'd been there I'd have said something too but I think you did a good job of putting them in their place beautifully and eloquently lol GOOD ON YA BRIAN! Three cheers. Wish you'd come to Cardiff so you could honour us with your talents. There are plenty here would appreciate you.
Funny you mentioning that Van Morrisson bassist as there is another of his guitarists on the Cardiff circuit, Ned.He's another one who has played along with me when I didnt know who he was (like Burke from Budgie) good job I didn't know who they were at the time! lol
I didn't know that they could take your video off just like that off youtube? That doesn't seem very fair. Would like to see you!
Loved your choice of Uriah Heap too by the way (where were yours Adrumi?)
Would be nice to have different tribute days or weeks whatever, regularly for different musicians and especially some of our own ebidders too like yours Spyder Brian!

I hope I did this right. One of my favorites from Uriah Heep. Took a girl years ago early in the morning to watch the sunrise. She was going through a divorce, blaming herself for it and last thing she wanted was another relationship as she was scared to death of men and relationships.

At the moment I am playing a tune called John Brown's March, an American civil war tune, set in the mountains of the state of West Virginia..
My wife plays a dulcimer, I play (or try to) an open back banjo.
We love playing the old time Appalachian mountain music along with civil war tunes.
We are not performers, just love to sit and play together. Sometimes play with others also..

I play resonator guitar (Dobro) & concentrate on Bluegrass mainly. Love the Civil War era tunes also.
I'm currently learning "The Chicken Reel" - simple tune, but difficult to bring it up to speed.
I also collect stringed instruments & I have an Appalachian dulcimer (3 string) made here in Adelaide south Australia.
Below is my Scheerhorn reso - one of several "Dobro's" I've managed to collect. Just love that sound.

Nobody wants me, I have to play with myself.
