Thread: For dog owners

  1. #1

    Default For dog owners

Just back from walking my dog. Had someone run after me and tell me off for allowing my dog to poo outside their house a few days ago, especially as they've got kids.

I actually was quite close to tears as I always clear up after him. She was adamant it was my dog - a black and white collie - although she admits to not seeing me. As far as I know mine's the only one in the village.

Back home, got me thinking though. Could he have gone without me knowing? Feeling guilty now just in case it was him.

Aww Cambs dont get to upset about it, she may well of been mistaken and it may not of been a collie she see, and i am sure if your dog went walkabouts you would know

Suspect they're mistaken, I wouldn't get too upset. They've just seen a black and white dog and jumped to conclusions.

Both my collies like to take their time over things, there's absolutely no way I wouldn't know what they were up to (assuming that they are in sight that is).

    Hi Cambs.....

I wouldn't get too upset either.....

They could just as easily have blamed my avatar.....

    Kindest Regards.....

Having had dogs my whole life and done my share of walking dogs. There is no way you could have missed all the symptons of it's time to do my duty. You can sympathize with her for the left behind but I doubt it was yours. Take a different route for a few days and let her cool off and all will return to normal.

Thanks all. Silly to get upset, athritis hasn't been too good lately so the smallest thing sets me off.

PS. The dog in question is the one on my homepage, the avatar is the collie X I lost last year.
