I don't collect. I don't do lots of matching things. Even my dinner plates are all odd. I'm better with "odd".

I think "eclectic" is a better word than "odd"!!

Anyway I collect because I'm week, & like spending money.

I collect Christmas pins and green depression glass because I like it. Got the bug for collecting from my parents. Dad had a huge collection of auto license plates and Mom had a large collection of elephant figurines.

Jewellery...I love old...costume jewellery!
I buy it...I also wear it.
Then I sell some to make room for more :-)

I've been collecting 7" vinyl since I was 13, Cd's since the mid 80's. I once paid £100 for an entire collection records, just to obtain 5 picture discs in it.

Agree with Jiveporn as a hobby that helps pay for it's self by clearing whats no longer wanted. Have also done a lot of swapping for records.

Have also just started collecting Dvd boxsets mainly TV series.
