Does anybody have a metal ruler for craft work - used as a guide for cutting, for example - listed or listable? Or can see one here that I'm missing because I'm using the wrong terms?

    Cheers.

A rule you can't break. Geddit? Oh, please yourselves!
More for drafting, engineering or drawing than for crafts. I have seen them in the big box office supply stores around the drawing pencils, sketch paper, drafting supplies. Come in a variety of widths and lengths, all with cork backs. Someone who sells office supplies or drawing things may stock them?

You may get your wish. I have bags and bags of yarn that I want to list soon along with lots of linens, etc etc too. Some wools and blends, some fancies, lots of baby yarn etc.

I admit, we don't have enough yarn. Most of mine I bought at estate sales so it is super nice, clean, and will not be priced high either.

Time, time, where does it go?

Just to reiterate from message #8 to save people's time - I've bought the one that was pointed out, thanks all.

Oh yes, you know those toys that were unbreakable awhile ago can't remember what they were called now, well I broke one just to prove it was breakable

OK. Deal done but what you really wanted if you are using it to cut with a blade is a Safety Rule. These are raised to prevent slippage and protect the fingers.

    I have three I use:

    Attachment 14681

The two on the left are steel and the other is aluminium. The far left is not a safety rule.

I also use a rotary paper cutter but find that less use than a steel rule and craft knife to be honest.

Thanks for that, but this thing is going to be used for about two minutes, roughly once a quarter - not worth going too OTT.
