Question A rule you can't break.

I know there are lots of crafters here, many selling craft supplies, so I'm surprised not to be able to find a 12" cork-backed (or other non-slip, non-mark finish) metal rule. It's possible I'm not using the right jargon.

Does anybody have a metal ruler for craft work - used as a guide for cutting, for example - listed or listable? Or can see one here that I'm missing because I'm using the wrong terms?

    Cheers.

A rule you can't break. Geddit? Oh, please yourselves!

Hmmmmm! Not many crafters would use a metal rule - as it would wreak havoc with the very expensive blades on our rotary cutters! You can make plastic rulers non-slip but of course they remain breakable!

The one I have for leather work is a "Maun" safety rule.Unfortunately that doesn't bring one up on here either.

Plastic's too cuttable, I fear. I have found exactly what I want elsewhere, I'd just rather buy here if somebody has one and I've failed to spot it.

Thanks for the help so far, folks.

Star! Thanks. No backing, but I can live with that.
