I do not sell jewellery making items, either it is a glitch or else I have the cards listed in the wrong place. I have had problems when listing and find the item has jumped from the listing catergory to another similar area. Either it IS my computer or another problem with Ebid, I'm not sure.
If you look at your listings you will see you have 16 of your cards listed under jewellery making.

which is a shame because they are very pretty & don't need to be hidden away.

It might be well worth you upgrading your membership to Seller +,
as you are still on Gold Level, it may well be free as you've been a member so long, the most it should cost is £5.00

That will give you 5 free shops not just the one, so you can seperate out your different types of items into different stores.

That will increase your visibility (times the number of new stores you open) because they will all be randomly featured on the main pages.
You can also put each store into a more relevant category, for those who like to browse stores (I do)

Have a look at those competitors whose items are selling when yours aren't. What do they do that's different to you?
Are theit titles more relevant than yours? Do their listings contain more information?
You don't need to copy them, just get some ideas.

As an experiment pretend to are looking to buy some of the items you're selling, what words do you use to search?
Then ask your friends/family to do the same.
Do those words bring up your items?

Those are the words you need to be using in the title, other information you only add if there is room, or put it in the description, it will still be picked up by google shopping, but your titles need to contain what the buyer is looking for.

Thanks to everyone for their encouragement and advice - it really has helped as there were a lot of things I didn't realised about the type of auctions I was running and their visibility.
Just wanted to come back with something positive.
    Thanks again

Good stuff Gill, we always seem to get sales come together. We had nothing for 8 days and then one Monday and two yesterday. The signature link is what appears under your forum posts and is useful for people to have a quick look at what you are selling. I can't remember how to do it, it was so long ago, but someone will be along in a minute to help.

A signature is the bit of blurb that most of us have at the bottom of each message we post on the forums.

A signatrure link is a link in part of that signature that can for example, when you click on it, take you to my stores or link to wherever you want to take the clicker. Although in forum sigs its usually to either our about me pages, one or all of our stores.

As for how to do it - I'm not techy enough to explain that bit, but if you click this link - http://www.bykimbo.com/ebid/help/
and look under 'forums', you should be able to find what you need.

    I hope that helps.

Thanks Gothicina - I was wondering if I was seeing things - always good to know someone else can see the same apparitions - items don't always transfer from the UK to France successfully.

Well done on getting your first sale. I have sold a few things on here and I had a pleasant surprise earlier on today when one lady bought two of my items. It does give you a buzz
