Rumour is a dangerous thing.

Locally, Lee Kwan Phen sold his three restaurants on the basis of a rumour passed to him by Majiid 'The Curry King' Darwhal, that the local council was going to use a by-law to close 'foreign' take aways.

Majid is now the local mayor and owner of the largest chain of take aways west of Delhi.

On seeing the content of Canuckbid's OP, my immediate reaction was that it was connected to "image rights" and the eBid logo.

I assume that the eBid logo is registered in some way, but there is no (R)
attached to it I am not sure.

With the mention on another thread of the new site looking good with different colours involved to what the current logo is; there was speculation that the logo maybe changing.

Maybe the lads are going "take ownership" of the logo by introducing a new one. in ths same way that numerous sports clubs have.

lol The post was meant to get people thinking about what they were doing and it had the desired effect. I said I heard it from a "bird". At no time did I mention admin. It's funny though reading some of the posts and seeing how it was taken. People read whatever they like into them. I've heard rumour <<<< That some people were reported for having e-commerce links in their stores and directories. We all know that is not allowed. Since I do no report posts if anyone gets a ban or barred you will know it was not me. I merely gave warining. As far as my store name goes, I've had it for over 7 years so if admin had a problem with it I'm sure I would have been imformed. It's generally more fun to make the news than read about it. I'm not scared to confront "popular" members here either. If I see something that looks kind of shady to me I'll question them on it. Still have not received any good explanation on my questions. With that said I'm off to have a barbeque with family and friends.
