I wouldn't worry too much books - I doubt very much that admin would discuss anything of that nature with anyone outside of the company - and I'm sure that if any of us that are actively promoting eBid did so in such a manner that eBid objected to, then eBid would approach us and contact us direct and set us straight on what we are doing wrong - and not discuss the matter with a third party.

G & M are big boys, if they had something to say, I'm sure they'd come out & say it, either privately to a member, or on the forums, or in the newsletter if it affected everyone.

If they didn't want us to promote the site, they wouldn't have given us the tools to do so.

If they wanted us to stop they would remove them.

Idle speculation like this can easily damage the relationship between Gazza & Mark & the eBid membership.

As far as I am concerned - google are hosting a banner for you.

I have a ''short url'' for practically every single one of my items.
If ebid think am gonna send a request in for every single one, then they got another think coming.

If "eBid" as a company didn't want a certain type of promoting idea from a member, why would they simply ban them without communication first? It would not make sense in my opinion.

I never got the green light for the feedback challenge, but I did email them and got a ticket number, but nor was I told that the feedback challenge could not go ahead either, and I am sure if they didn't want it to be there then they would have acted sometime within the 9ish months when it was active.

When a person has an idea, you can normally get an honest view from those on the KT as to good, bad, repeated, or simply bonkers.

I am sure that if anyone had anything out there that they did not like, then like I've said, the user would I hope be contacted by "eBid"

Google gadgets are picture links that you can add to your IGoogle page (if you have one) I have one and have gadgets for YouTube, Weather, News, etc. These are placed in the Gadget Library for anyone to add to their IGoogle page. There are many stores that have them and there are also ones for games. So, anyone that goes through the Gadget Library can see the Gadget (picture link) and put it on their IGoogle page.
