LOST CINEMA ETC. is a license search, acquisition and demand service dedicated in providing a service to SERIOUS MOVIE COLLECTOR/LOVERS WHO HAVE A TRUE APPRECIATION AND LOVE FOR THIS ART FORM by providing a lasting resource for the best in hard to find films. We are not an e-commerce store but a film industry base service that acts as a bridge between rare movie collectors and the studios. We provide good rare hard to find movies and classic movie titles that are not available in stores on dvd, out of print titles, or titles that have been deleted by the studios' for production onto dvd. We acquire all of our prints direct from our inside studio contacts here and abroad. We sell good films from the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's , 70's, 80's, and early 90's. More than 150,000 films have enjoyed international theatrical release. Our goal is to have a listing of the best 3000 to 5000 titles that one person might reasonably see in their lifetime(& still have a normal life). 85% of the movies from the 60's, 70's, and 80's may never be put on DVD by a major studio, in fact most will be lost to time and many are already gone forever. Please let us know whether any of our titles are available in local retailers. If so, we will remove the title(s) from our list. We have a desire to help preserve part of this era of American culture and most of the profits that comes from our customers' purchases is used to find more good sources of hard to find titles so we can offer the best DVD's that are of the best viewing quality.
