My partner, Bob, and I have both been in love with collecting for many years.  Bob has bought and sold at various auctions and an antique mall for several years, and I retired from teaching 5 years ago to open Olde Things in Oakland Maine. I sold directly to the public from that store, and loved the interaction with my customers, but the economy started a downturn and I shifted from the store to "that large online auction which shall remain unnamed".

I am in this collectible business because I enjoy collecting and others who enjoy collecting. As a former educator, I am open to sharing what I have learned about the items I have for sale, and I am also open to having others who are more knowledgable share their expertise with me.
