Steam Punk/Fantasy Lady.

 Based on Victorian fashions with a modern twist, steam punk encapsulates the 19^th century’s flair for mechanical engineering, combined with futuristic sci-fi.

This attractive steam punk lady is cast by me, from fine quality bisque porcelain with two-tone auburn and strawberry blonde hair.

She wears an open fronted purple stripe silk gown, lined with acid green and trimmed with black and gold fancy braid. The back of the gown is draped into a train with a puffed bustle. The lower front edges of the gown are folded back to reveal the lining and decorated with groups of tiny metallic cogs and wheels.

On her feet are painted deep purple high-heeled ankle boots with pearly white spats, trimmed with sparkle braid and tiny painted buttons at the sides.

Black lace stockings can be seen below lace-trimmed lavender striped silk bloomers, and an acid green waistcoat with golden looped watch chain and buttons, sits over a purple silk front drape. The large pagoda shaped gown sleeves reveal full green under sleeves to match the waistcoat,  and she wears fine black lace ‘mittens’ on her hands.

Trimmed with the tiniest of watch hands, cogs and wheels, this lady’s matching purple silk top hat rests at a jaunty angle on her long curly hair. Around her neck is a golden ‘chain’ with layered cog pendant and on both hands are cog and wheel rings.

This doll is approx five and a half inches tall.

This doll has a porcelain head, torso, lower arms, and lower legs with a wired, soft and partially pose-able body. This doll is an ornament intended for adult collectors and should not be given to children to play with.
