RICH REGENCY LADY/ ELIZABETH BENNETT.

The Regency era has always been one of my favourites and I have always thought of it as very elegant, with its narrow, high-waist gowns.

  This delightful Regency lady is cast by me, from fine quality bisque porcelain with dark brown hair.

Dressed in walking/visiting attire, she wears a typical high-waist ‘Spencer’ jacket in ‘burnt apricot’ coloured silk, trimmed with the finest of light tan braids and golden ‘buttons’. Peeping out from the end of each sleeve is a delicate frill of silk ribbon, to match the ties on her bonnet, and she wears fine lace ‘mittens’ on her hands.

Trimmed with tiny hand-crafted silk roses, a feather plume and lace, this lady’s typically Regency styled bonnet, frames her pretty face beautifully.

Her lace and braid trimmed cream silk skirt just skims the top of her real leather shoes and around her shoulders is a stole of silk brocade.

Underneath, this lovely lady wears lace-trimmed white cotton drawers and matching petticoat, along with real silk stockings.

  This doll is approx five and a half inches tall.

This doll has a porcelain head, torso, lower arms, and lower legs with a wired, soft and partially pose-able body. This doll is an ornament intended for adult collectors and should not be given to children to play with.
