Hi everyone I'm Manda I'm 39 years old and I live in Bolton, Lancashire. I love anything creative and I've been making various things since school (approx 22 years), gradually it's built up to quite a collection. Admittedly it involves a lot of socks as I am a sockaholic. I love socks and hence anything I can make out of socks I will, it's a bit of an obsession.

The majority of the items you will see in my store have been originally made for family and friends usually because I had no idea what to buy them or I was short of cash. They tend to be useful items like socks or towels, that can be boring to gift but something everyone needs. I like the surprise when people realise they are socks and again when they realise they can unpin them and use them. I try to use eco friendly packaging as I am an avid recycler and like to reuse items wherever possible in daily life.

I wanted somewhere where people could see what I've made, along with pictures and prices without me having to email them constantly. I did use ebay previously (under mand61123/akayishagifts) but I found the fees just got too expensive, so I am happy to be able to use ebid and keep costs down. I am working on a website but it isn't there yet, I will add the details when it is up and running.

All of the items are made are handcrafted, apart from the socks obviously! Oh lordi, if I could make my own socks I'd be in heaven. So items can be personalised specifically for you.
