Some Information About VacuumTubes
This store is all about Vacuum Tubes! I have literally thousands of tubes by major manufacturers for sale, and am continually updating the store listings as more inventory comes online.
A few notes:
1) Photos, where present, are meant to be representative of that tube and manufacturer. No guarantee is implied that the pictured tube is the specific one you will receive. I'm continuing to post and upload more photos, this is one of the more time-consuming aspects of getting these listings going.
2) As you can see, there are lots of listings. In most cases, I have listed separately the same type tube from different manufacturers, as some folks are particular (and rightfully so) about the manufacture of specific tubes. If the tube manufacturer is identified as "Various", it indicates a range of manufacturers, typically RCA, Sylvania, GE, Tung-Sol, and other major brands. Glad to provide additional manufacturer data in these cases if requested.
3) These tubes are NOS, except where noted. The vast majority have come from the stock of a reputable surplus electronics store in the midwest that was getting out of the tube business, and several other smaller lot purchases have contributed the remainder. I am continually looking to supplement inventory, and work to get the tubes on hand up and posted as soon as possible.
4) These tubes and boxes are old, and the boxes in particular show different levels of wear after years of storage. Some may be even be torn or have missing flaps. Every attempt is made to remove dust and dirt without removing any identifying markings on the tubes themselves.
5) At the moment, I have no functional tube tester, so while I can guarantee tubes match their boxes and appear physically intact on shipping, I cannot attest to the electrical characteristics of the tubes themselves, nor can I 'match' pairs or quads of tubes. For this reason, there is a 30-day money-back guarantee on any tubes sold, if buyer returns the tube. I will pay return shipping as needed.
6) Payment is by PayPal or Google Checkout, and to validated addresses only. I ship by USPS Priority Mail. Please indicate if you would like insurance on the shipment, for an extra charge. I charge exact postage costs; you will see the postage receipt on the sent package. No handling fee for sales in the US.
7) I'm always glad to combine multiple orders into one shipment, and will adjust the invoiced shipping costs accordingly. So now's the time to stock up!
